Hello, I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Rosalie. I'm ready to embellish an opportunity to a new spectrum of audience and create contemporary urban First Nations art to an international stage performance to have my abilities to take part and to honour the native dignity of Canada.
It would be my gift to identify and educate the public with our unique native cultures and transpire the messages to enlighten the stronghold of what courage it takes to fight for our freedom of rights and independence and yet to have the stability and success in Canada.

Rosalie Dipcsu Williams comes from the Stat'lmic Nation of Mount Currie, through her First Nations mother, Evelyn Peters. She has been a band member of Squamish Nation for fifteen years, through her marriage to her husband, John Williams. She was born in 1960 at the Bralorne Mines Hospital, a gold miner's daughter, of John Dipcsu.
Her gifted hands and mind create the concepts and colour theories that hold a viewer: a distinct realism, and alongside it graphics, impressionism, surrealism, landscape and ghost imaging. Through all of it she keeps her authenticity to her native culture, on a modern platform.
She has placed her life and art experiences into the heart of many First Nations communities, teaching the First Nations components of the art field in workshops and seminars, from kindergarten to adults.
The long way roundAn eagle, inside an eye
The first one, drawn in line. The eye is the name; the eagle is inside it, looking out. It is on everything the studio sent out for twenty years.
The same idea painted rather than drawn. An eagle coming down onto the spruce, the ring of feathers around it still making the eye. The same thought, thirty-five years apart.

Her own business, conducted since July 1990 and registered in 2005. -20 years of full-time studio production, marketing and sales, worked in between contracts and commissions.
She runs it the way she says she does: conference calls, details by email, team players kept in the loop. Every corporate installation complete to date, on time and on budget, with the client's full approval of the finished work.
