The B.C. Lions Society asked her to paint a Komodi Spirit Bear for the annual gathering at the pavilion. Her bear sold for $2,500 to Olympic Bell Canada.
Waves and salmon run across the chest. Pictographs travel the back: fish, fox, triangles, the marks she has used for decades. After the auction it stood on Burrard Street, public, through the 2010 Games.
